Isaiah 62:1
A Note From The Artist …
The younger me discovered Isaiah 62:1 in my search for our Jewish Roots! I was and still am so excited to be on that treasure hunt and look for others who might also want to know!
Through the years, this scripture keeps going deeper in me. Depending on who you read or ask, opinions differ as to the speaker of this statement. Is he Isaiah, others, or the Lord Himself?
Isaiah 62:6 speaks about watchmen posted on the walls of Jerusalem that are not silent day or night. “And you who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest.” Are we praying that God will not be silent? Will God restore Jerusalem?
It has been said, “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.” Holy Spirit, what are You saying to me? What are You saying to us?
