A Note From The Artist…

Many years ago, I discovered these words while studying the Holocaust of World War II. The words were carved into the stone wall of a cellar found in Cologne Germany where the Jews were in hiding in 1943.

It is a cry of Faith and Hope from the Jews and all of mankind throughout the generations! I have often wondered what that was like to hide fleeing Jews in your home. I have often wondered what it would be like to be a Jew who was frantic to be hidden and spared!

Hebrews 11:1 states, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Lord, what are YOU saying to me/us in our everyday lives of believing in YOU?🙏
